Car fire on Route Twisk

A private car caught fire on Route Twisk. No one was injured.

The vehicle was severely burned.

The incident occurred at around 3 a.m., when the car was travelling uphill along Route Twisk toward Kam Tin. The car suddenly began emitting smoke and caught fire. The driver escaped in time and was unscathed. Firefighters arrived and extinguished the blaze.

The male driver reported that he is a garage worker and was test-driving the vehicle at the time.
