HA Go's new functions: medical expense relief & report applications

Users can now apply for medical expense relief and medical reports via the Hospital Authority's mobile application "HA Go" as new functions are being rolled out.

Currently, applying for medical expense relief requires an in-person visit to the hospital.

Starting today, it can be done through the medical expense assistance one-stop service function within the app.

Subject to some conditions, applicants can apply for medical expense relief and upload supporting documents within the app.

Supplementary documents can also be uploaded within the app, eliminating the need for multiple trips to the hospital.

However, before the hospital approves the relief, the applicant must personally visit the hospital to sign a declaration.

The Hospital Authority hopes the new function will streamline the application process.
