Intense heat continues to strike Hong Kong

The Very Hot Weather Warning is still in force. The Hong Kong Observatory says temperatures across many areas rose to 34 degrees Celsius or above in the afternoon.

A scorching heat continues to strike Hong Kong. The Observatory says a broad trough of low pressure will bring unsettled weather to the northern part of the South China Sea on Monday. It is expected to edge closer to the coast of southern China, bringing heavy showers and squally thunderstorms to the territory on Tuesday and Wednesday.
