Iran's Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi calls on the EU

to take decisive action against Ukraine's targeting of an Iranian commercial ship

in the Caspian Sea that killed one sailor and injured another.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirms his country's forces

had hit a Russian warship and vessels used for transporting Iran-linked

military cargo in those waters.

This as Ukraine says Russia wants to receive another 30,000 troops from

North Korea as military ties deepen between Pyongyang and Moscow.

In his nightly address, Ukrainian President Zelenskyy says

"Russia wants to receive another 30,000 troops from North Korea,

as preparations to receive them have been underway

in the Voronzh region since June."

He adds North Korea is also preparing to transfer new ballistic missile

launchers to Russia, posing a threat not only to Ukraine.

He furthers Russia is helping North Korea learn how to wage a war,

upgrading their weapons and providing them

with experience in the actual use the weapons.

This as Ukrainian attacks on holiday camps on Saturday

in the partly Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia region

have killed 12 people, Moscow officials say.

Four children were among the dead with another 19 injured.

Also in Zaporizhzhia a Russian strike injured a 63-year-old man

and also caused damage to shops, pavilions

and a two-storey commercial building,

causing fire that spread over 900-square-metres,

the State Emergency Service of Ukraine said Saturday.

Elsewhere in Ukraine, a Russian attack on Sumy overnight

damaged civilian infrastructure,

causing a large-scale fire and killing three employees of the state postal service.
