Authorities aim to fix burst pipes in Tai Po by Thursday noon

A burst water main in Tai Po has prompted emergency repair works, with water supplies to nearby housing estates including Tai Yuen Estate and Ting Nga Court has been suspended from 11pm tonight.
The burst pipe sent large amounts of water onto the road, affecting traffic in the area.
The Water Supplies Department has sent workers to undertake emergency repairs of the burst pipe that is 200mm in diameter.
Reportedly, authorities aim to complete the works by around noon tomorrow.
Water tanks have been arranged to provide temporary water supplies to affected residents.
