US President Donald Trump praises Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth
for continued attacks on Iran.
This as Trump insists his country maintains control over
the Strait of Hormuz.
“And I want to thank Pete and all those people they're doing.
That was great. We were on the phone late last night, and,
it really went we like we knocked out a lot, you know,
we now control the Hormuz Strait. And we have many
boats going through that every day. Every night.
Many, many boats loaded up with oil. And so far
and I want to speak too bravely, too foolishly,
but so far they've done very little to be able to stop it.
We're going to keep it that way,” Trump says.
Iran had suffered more American bombardment that Iranian
state media says included a strike on a wedding party
that killed two children and two women Wednesday.
This as Iran fire on US allies in the Gulf. Sirens sounded in
Kuwait early Thursday as air defences intercept missile and
drone attacks that its Ministry of Defense calls "blatant Iranian
aggression."
