Greer says details of Sino-US trade agreements will be released Monday

US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer tells CNBC that Washington is in a "managed trade situation" and that details of the limited trade agreements with the Chinese reached during Xi's visit will be released on Monday.

According to the official, both sides have agreed on exempting "a subset of goods" to insulate them from further tariff clashes. The bilateral deals will cover US agricultural goods as well as medical devices traded for Chinese consumer goods and other "non-sensitive" products.

Greer says conversations about export controls and national security were "off the table" in those talks.

Following earlier consultations between US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Vice Premier He Lifeng, Washington and Beijing jointly announced a two-month extension of the trade truce.

The White House states on Saturday the two sides agreed to keep working together on a Board of Trade, which went into operation this week, on selected bilateral trade issues.
