
Hong Kong's Coleman Wong wins the city's first gold medal in Asian Games
tennis men's singles.
He beats the national team's Wu Yibing in straight sets.
Wong took the first set with much ease, 6-2.
The two players each took two games in the second set, but Wong
then broke Wu's serve. The Hong Kong player eventually
won the second set 6-4.
Apart from winning gold, Wong also earned a spot in the next Olympics
men's single to be held in Los Angeles in 2028.
This is provided that he remains in the global top 500 by June 12
of that year.
