Starting this Saturday, Lan Kwai Fong in Central will host a slew of Halloween celebrations. This as the Tourism Board earlier announced the inaugural Hong Kong Halloween Month will kick off in the middle of this month.
With that, Halloween-themed street cosplay fests and high-octane DJ parties and performances will take over the nightlife hotspot LKF for three consecutive Saturdays between 7pm and 11pm.
Lan Kwai Fong Group Chairman Allan Zeman says last year, the district welcomed 80,000 tourists and revellers during Halloween. He hopes with an earlier start of Halloween festivities, the area can see a boost in footfall by 10 to 20%.
