Property prices in the city have been on a consecutive rise for two months.

Some analysts believe the total increase in property prices this year could reach as much as 10% in part due to rising rental returns.

This as the property market continues to improve with the price indices for private domestic units in September rising by 0.1% year-on-year, which is an increase of 9% compared with the same period last year.

The latest increase in property prices also marked the seventh monthly spike in nine months, with the accummulated rise this year reaching 7%.

Certain analyses indicated the stable rental returns has been attributed to the continual flow of European, American and Middle Eastern funds into the city, which attracted more people to purchase and subsequently lease their properties.
