Authorities say at least six were killed and dozens were injured in Russian attacks on Ukrainian territory that involved ballistic missiles, drones and guided bombs on Sunday.

Hours later, Ukraine fired more than 400 drones toward the Moscow region and set civilian buildings ablaze in its latest major attack.

The latest Russian strikes on Kyiv triggered fires across five districts and lasted for a few hours.

A postal facility near Ukraine's second-largest city Kharkiv was hit, killing three people and wounding at least 20 others.

Russians dropped bombs on Zaporizhzhia region, where private homes and a garage were targeted.

Ukraine's State Emergency Service states that the attacks claimed three lives and injured at least 45 residents including eight children.

Fuel reservoirs at Odesa port also came under attack.

Meanwhile, the days-long protests in Ukraine prompted President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to convene "key talks" on Monday to sort out the political rift and assure the public that his recent government reshuffle wouldn't derail the fight against Russia.
