After T9 was downgraded to T8, streets in Mong Kok also got busier.

Rail services at Tai Wo MTR Station along the East Rail Line was disrupted after a tree collapsed onto overhead cables which took longer to repair.

Mainland rail authorities announced because of the adverse conditions,all high-speed rail running between Hong Kong and the mainland before 4 pm have been suspended.
