Water suspension in Tai Po estates tonight over burst pipe

A burst water main in Tai Po has prompted emergency repair works, with water supplies to Tai Yuen Estate and Ting Nga Court set to be suspended from 11pm tonight.

The burst pipe on On Po Road sent large amounts of water onto the road, affecting traffic in the area.

The Water Supplies Department has sent workers to undertake emergency repairs.

Reportedly, authorities aim to complete the works at around noon tomorrow.

Water tanks have been arranged to provide temporary water supplies to affected residents.
