HKJC total wagering and lottery attained record high in 2025/26

In the 2025/26 fiscal year, the Hong Kong Jockey Club's total wagering and lottery reached a record high at 331.7 billion dollars, marking an increase of 3.6% year-on-year.

Mark Six betting amounted to 9.4 billion dollars, up 4.2% year-on-year.

Total football betting turnover rose by 3.6% to 179 billion dollars, with 29.3 billion dollars paid to the government in betting duty and profits taxes.

The visitor number reached a record high, topping 400,000, more than doubling year-on-year.

The club says it recently received the latest risk assessment from authorities and the race originally scheduled for October at Conghua Racecourse will be postponed.
