Stingrays in Tai Po attract crowds

A large group of stingrays has recently been spotted swimming near the surface of the Lam Tsuen River in Tai Po, attracting crowds of onlookers.

Stingrays could still be seen in the Lam Tsuen River in the morning, with some swimming close to the riverbanks.

Other shoals of fish were also present in the river. Many residents stopped along both banks to watch, while some brought fishing rods to fish by the riverside.

A fish expert cautioned that the spines on the tails of some stingrays are venomous, and the public should avoid touching them.
