Gwangju Biennale faces Taiwan Pavilion naming issue

After the organiser of the Gwangju Biennale in South Korea allowed Taiwanese participants to use the name "Taiwan Pavilion," the Chinese participants announced their withdrawal from the art exhibition.

The Chinese side, together with the Chinese Embassy in Korea, contends that the change of name goes against the One China principle that Korea has committed to respect.
