A Russian drone on Sunday strikes a diplomatic train near Ukraine-Poland border shortly after senior visiting European officials passed through, according to Ukraine's state rail operator.
A train carrying former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, former Swedish Prime Minister Carol Bildt, and security advisors from several EU countries, who departed from a security conference in Kyiv, left the station near the Yahodyn-Dorohusk border crossing with Poland ahead of schedule.
Minutes after the officials passed through, the train came under attack by a Russian drone.
Ukraine's state rail operator says it is "highly probable" that its intended target was the diplomatic train.
Bildt, who later shared a video of the attack, said no one was hurt because the train had an evacuation warning.
Another train that carried former CIA director David Patraeus was still at the station when the drone attack took place.
