Five-Year Plan: Improve counter-terrorism strategy

Chief Executive John Lee states in the Five-Year Plan that the government will adopt a "holistic" approach to development and security.

Lee says the government will strengthen national security eduction, targeting young people to foster their sense of nationhood, national affection and national identity. The government will review and improve counter-terrorism strategy and conduct an average of 120 counter-terrorism exercises every year over the next five years.

The government will also increase cybersecurity defence system by deepening its protection, collaboration and emergency coordination mechanisms.
