Court to select again jury for Abby Choi case

In the Tai Po Lung Mei Tsuen dismemberment case of Abby Choi, the court is re-selecting a jury today.

The 3 defendants in the case, including Abby Choi’s ex-husband Alex Kwong, former brother-in-law Anthony Kwong, and former father-in-law Kwong Kau, were escorted to the High Court by prison van.

The court had originally selected a jury of 7 men and 2 women, but after one member withdrew on health grounds, the judge announced the dissolution of the jury and ordered a re-selection today.

The crime occurred on February 21, 2023, when 28-year-old female model Abby Choi was murdered in Lung Mei Tsuen, Tai Po.

The 3 defendants are each charged with one count of murder. The three are also jointly charged with one count of preventing the lawful burial of a body.
