Omani pilot lone attacker on Tel Aviv-bound FlyDubai flight

Israel's Channel 12 reported on Sunday a preliminary Israeli investigation found the co-pilot who attacked the captain of a Tel Aviv-bound Flydubai flight last week acted alone.

Citing sources familiar with the investigation launched by Israeli security agencies, the channel reported investigators believe the co-pilot acted as a "lone wolf".

The regional officials said Emirati authorities had shared information about the passengers and crew, including their nationalities ahead of the flight.

Israel hadn't raised red flags on any passenger or member of the crew, said the officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorised to speak to reporters about the probe.
