Huanggang building to open; ride hailing services limit to taxi fleets

As the newly redeveloped Huanggang Port building is poised to open, the Transport Department unveils its latest connecting traffic arrangements.

Seven franchised buses and six minibus routes will run between the border crossing and Tuen Mun, Tsing Yi, Kai Tak, Wu Kai Sha and Tuen Mun.

During the initial phase, service ambassadors will be on site to assist commuters. Dedicated lanes for buses and minibuses will be set up in San Tin. If a taxi wants to pick up passengers in the building, they must take a queue ticket before entering.

Travellers can only book ride-hailing services from taxi fleets, and board from a dedicated waiting area.
