Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has received amped up support
from UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham amid ongoing conflict with Russia
while the US military and Starlink had allegedly throttling its internet signal,
crippling Ukrainian drones.
Zelenskyy also said Ukraine received no intelligence from
partners about the latest rounds of missiles headed to Kyiv.
Arriving at London's 10 Downing Street to a warm embrace from UK Prime Minister
Andy Burnham, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy continued ongoing
efforts to rally support from European allies, though taking
the opportunity to appeal to US President Donald Trump after
SpaceX had crippled its drones by limiting Starlink services in Ukraine.
Burnham pledged military support for Ukraine
while praising Zelenskyy's commitment to reaching a ceasefire.
The meeting at 10 Downing came just hours after a number of drone
missions were disrupted by throttled Starlink services in Ukraine and
as Russia launched more missiles and drones near Kyiv,
hitting energy and critical infrastructure.
SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said the US government controlled the speed
of the satellite communications system and any limits on
speed or usage were decided by the US military and
ultimately the US president.
As Trump seeks to facilitate a ceasefire between the two nations,
Zelenksyy said the move could be linked to the "current political situation,"
putting into question American military support for Ukraine
in terms of intelligence and defence weapons.
