The Leisure and Cultural Services Department is hosting the Muse Fest HK this month with a two-day carnival outside the Hong Kong Cultural Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui. The goal is to take citizens -- and tourists -- on a nostalgic journey through the sights and sounds of old Hong Kong.

French Tourist BRICE: "It's important to have this event to show us the real life, not just the touristic stuff or the buildings, the bay and things like that."

At this classic fairground game: coin-tossing, visitors -- young and old -- got carried away in the fun. Participants can also head to the Chinese medicine shop "next door" to try sorting out the medicinal herbs. To take a break, they can sit back at the tea stall.

Themed "A Collage of Past and Present, Hong Kong Story," the carnival recreates Hong Kong's bygone days with keychain and clay craft workshops as well as the possibilities to make their own mahjong tiles. Throughout the month-long Muse Fest, more than 60 events will be staged by the LCSD. Admission to the event is free.
