A jet crashed into a neighbourhood in Palm Beach County, Florida, on Sunday, 14 kilometres from US President Donald Trump's resort Mar-a-Lago.
All nine aboard were killed, authorities said.
A Bombardier Learjet 60 plane took off from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas and was flying to the Bahamas.
The plane was flying at 35000 feet when pilots reported turbulence.
Moments later, the plane plunged 30000 feet per minute, and smashed into the ground in a residential neighbourhood in Palm Beach County, Florida, 14 kilometres from US President Donald Trump's resort Mar-a-Lago, killing all nine passengers on board.
Speaking near the scene, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said there were no reports of injuries or deaths on the ground.
However, authorities had not said who was on board the jet and continued investigating the disaster.
