Showery weather hits Hong Kong again

The Observatory raised the Amber and Red rainstorm signals around lunchtime today.

The Observatory issued the Red rainstorm signal at 12:15pm. After about an hour, the signal was cancelled and replaced by an Amber one. The lesser signal was lifted at 2pm.

Weather authorities say the showery conditions will last at least until the weekend because a trough of low pressure is bringing showers and thunderstorms to the city.
