Boy died after running on track

A 11 year-old boy died after running in Tseung Kwan O sports ground on Saturday. It is understood that the boy did not suffer from any illness before his death.

A police officer remain on the sports ground after the incident.

Sources say the boy arrived at the site with his father at around 13:30pm. At around 4pm, he started training with his coach by first completing some warm-up exercise.

The boy later did a 400-metre run but felt sick afterward. The coach phoned the police and sent the boy to hospital after he lost conscious. He was later pronounced dead.
