Wu Chi-wai released from prison

Former Democratic Party chairman Wu Chi-wai was released from Stanley Prison after serving four years and five months behind bars for subversion.

Wu left the prison in the early morning and returned to his home in Wong Tai Sin.

The 63-year-old was among the 47 people convicted of conspiracy to subvert state power in connection with a pro-democracy primary poll.
