A Hong Kong court on Wednesday convicted a man of sedition after he wrote seditious words in a toilet cubicle at a Tsim Sha Tsui commercial building on three occasions.
The hearing takes place at the West Kowloon Law Courts. At the time of his arrest, the man was 18 years old. His defence argued that the man suffered from autism and dissociative disorders.
In his ruling, the judge rejects such views and says the man demonstrated the same level of concentration as normal people. The sentencing will take place on August 12.
