Second MTR monkey intrusion in two days

A monkey entered the MTR track at Tsuen Wan Station on Friday at around 9 a.m.

Service between Tsuen Wan and Tai Wo Hau stations was suspended,

while trains from Central to Tai Wo Hau ran at 5-minute intervals.

Police and Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) officers later captured the animal. Service on the Tsuen Wan Line resumed at about 10am.

This was the second monkey intrusion in two days. On Thursday another monkey went into the vicinity of Kowloon Bay station and left after about half an hour.
