HKO downgraded T8 to T3 at 12:40pm; 18 injured amid Noul

The Hong Kong Observatory downgraded the T8 signal to Strong Wind Signal No. 3 at 12:40 pm.

At least 18 people were injured during the storm with 188 reports of fallen trees and 5 reports of flooding.

The Airport Authority says around 350 flights have been cancelled today.

MTR resumed most railway services of its tunneled and open sections except services at Tai Wo Station because of fallen-tree damaged overhead cables .

Mainland rail authorities announced because of the adverse conditions all high-speed rail running between Hong Kong and the mainland before 4 pm will be suspended.
