12 arrests made connected to TST bar attack

Police have arrested 12 people, two of whom appeared in court this morning, in connection to the death of a man who was attacked in Tsim Sha Tsui.

The two defendants were brought to Kowloon City Court in police vans. A 40-year-old man is charged with murder, while another 52-year-old man faces a charge of assisting an offender.

The police have arrested 10 other individuals in connection with the case. Among them, six have been charged with murder or assisting an offender and have already appeared in court, while the remaining four have been released on bail pending further investigation.

The incident occurred in the early hours of last Sunday. A 32-year-old man went to a bar and

was set upon by customers at a neighbouring table. He suffered serious head and chest injuries, was taken to hospital in a coma, and died despite emergency treatment.
