At least seven workers have died after an under-construction tunnel
in India suddenly collapsed Thursday evening.
A rescue operation was launched after a sudden rush of water and debris
blocked the tunnel at a hydroelectric project in the state of Uttarakhand.
Of the 22 people who were working in the tunnel, 12 have been rescued alive
but three remain missing.
Teams from the national and state Disaster Response Force, Border Police and fire
services are searching for the missing, but are hampered by rising water levels.
