Tropical Cyclone Narra unlikely to threaten HK

While Western Pacific is seeing a number of tropical cyclones, Hong Kong is unlikely to be affected for the time being.

Tropical Cyclone Narra is expected to move across Leizhou Peninsula tomorrow, it will then move into the inland areas of western Guangdong and weaken, maintaining quite some distance from Hong Kong. Its direct threat to Hong Kong is not high. Under the influence of an active southerly airstream, showers will be heavier in some areas over Hong Kong in the next couple of days, and winds will be occasionally strong offshore and on high ground. Members of the public should be on the alert.
