Iran fires at US base in Jordan

Iran's state television shows what it said were ballistic missiles

being fired by Iran at US bases in Jordan.

The report claims the strikes were in response to earlier American attacks

on Iranian's Larak Island.

Iran says several soldiers and citizens were killed or injured on the island.

Separately, US President Donald Trump said on Sunday in a social media post

that Iran's Kharg Island is being blown to smithereens, but gave no further details.

Kharg handled 90% of Iran's oil exports before the start of the present

Middle East war.
