Last year, the Mandatory Provident Fund Authority recorded a total of 91.2 billion dollars in contributions, which exceeded 90 billion dollars for the second consecutive year.
The Authority says the surplus in contributions will be used to lower fees to directly benefit MPF scheme members.
In its latest 2025/26 report, MPF had more than 1.5 trillion dollars in total assets as of last year.
This marks a 1.5-fold increase compared with ten years ago.
Voluntary contributions account for 26% of the total contributions.
The MPFA had a surplus of 2.19 million dollars in the last fiscal year.
