Tram services between Admiralty Station and Tonnochy Road disrupted

The Transport Department issued a special traffic notice at 9:43 p.m. today (September 1) that the department was informed by the Tramways Company that, owing to a power failure, tram services on the eastbound line between Admiralty MTR Station and Tonnochy Road, and on the westbound line between Tonnochy Road and Admiralty MTR Station, have been suspended.

This marks the second consecutive day that a power failure has disrupted tram services.

The Transport Department had previously announced at yesterday that westbound tram services between North Point Terminus and Tin Lok Lane (Happy Valley Loop) were suspended due to a power failure.
