After some medical centres were found to sell a vaccine called "Wilms tumour 1" or WT1 which claims to prevent multiple types of cancer, the Department of Health arrests a 28-year-old manager of a clinic and another woman.

Authorities raided 13 locations and seized a few dozen unregistered pharmaceutical product.

The man was suspected of violating the Pharmacy and Poisons Ordinance.

The department notes any healthcare professional who misleads patients into believing that the unregistered WT1 vaccine has anti-cancer effects is in serious breach of professional conduct as this may cause patients to delay seeking medical treatment.
