All 17 Star Voyager trips from HK cancelled this year

Star Cruises has cancelled all 17 itineraries of its cruise ship Star Voyager departing from Hong Kong this year.

They include short high-seas getaways to Xiamen, Sanya, Kaohsiung and Okinawa.

The operator says that’s because of changes in its regional fleet deployment plan, and the affected schedules span from late September through mid November.

Affected passengers can switch to trips departing before August 29 next year, or receive a full refund.

Star Cruises insists it has no plans to pull out of Hong Kong permanently.

Star Voyager first came to Hong Kong in June last year, taking Hong Kong as its home port.
