21 men arrested during police operation against child pornography

Police have arrested 21 men over the past few days as part of an operation targeting child pornography.

Authorities seized several smartphones and laptops containing over 7,200 explicit photos of children along with more than a hundred videos.

The police earlier discovered individuals downloading and sharing child pornography as well as videos of women secretly taken in public via social media.

Those arrested during the two-day operation that began Monday are aged between 19 and 47.

Authorities say they will investigate if the arrested were involved in other criminal acts.
