Sha Tin school students & staff sickened in suspected food poisoning

30 students and staff at a primary school in Sha Tin fell ill after consuming lunch supplied by an external catering company.

Health authorities say 37 students aged between five and 11 alongside with two staff members at Baptist (Sha Tin Wai) Lui Ming Choi Primary School developed stomach ache and diarrhoea on Monday after eating braised chicken drumsticks and macaroni supplied by the company.

All 39 people are now in stable condition.
