SYU 55th anniversary with possible Braemar Hill site for expansion

Hong Kong's first private university, Shue Yan University, is celebrating its 55th anniversary, with the institution revealing that the government plans to support granting it a 6,000-square-metre site in Braemar Hill for campus expansion.

Chief Secretary for Administration Eric Chan Kwok-ki says that the administration supports the development of self-financing post-secondary institutions.

SYU also unveils the establishment of its fourth faculty which brings together the Department of Journalism and Communication and the Department of Data Science and Digital Innovation.
