Five-Year Plan: Public housing units will reach 196,000 in five years

Chief Executive John Lee says the government will increase public housing supply.

Taking into account Light Public Housing, the government says the total public housing production will reach around 196,000 units in five years. Meanwhile, the composite waiting time for subsidised rental housing will reduce to less than four years in 2030-31.
