News helicopter crashes while reporting bus collision in LA

A news helicopter used by NBC and Telemundo crashes in a Los Angeles

parking lot and bursts into flames, killing at least three people.

The reporters were covering a nearby bus crash

that killed two and left six injured.

Officials say the news helicopter was "pretty well destroyed,"

after it crashed near a large storage facility in the neighbourhood

of Chatsworth in the San Fernando Valley.

At least one person killed in the helicopter crash was outside in the

parking lot, according to the fire department.

More than 50 firefighters responded to the crash, which also damaged

several vehicles and storage containers.
