The government will tackle the use of AI in criminal activities, including introducing a legislation to regulate deepfake.
Chief Executive John Lee says the government is reviewing existing laws on cyber-enabled crimes. Authorities will later seek public opinion on ways to tackle the production of pornographic images
and online scams that involve the application of deepfake technology.
Secretary for Justice will lead a working group that focuses on minors' use of social media and to assess the need for more targeted solutions.
