An expert in media law said she was "disappointed but not surprised" that US President Donald Trump barred from the White House reporters at three major news organizations.
Professor of Pennsylvania State University, Amy Kristin Sanders, said: "You know, unfortunately, I'm disappointed but not surprised that the Trump administration is attempting to limit access of journalists with CNN, Politico, MS NOW."
She added, "This administration has a history of trying to limit journalists' ability to report critically on the administration. And he actually seems to sort of strike back any time there's a story that is at all embarrassing."
"Well, I absolutely anticipate that if their access isn't reinstated, there will be a legal challenge. It's become pretty clear that this administration is not interested in playing by traditional First Amendment rules and norms. And so, it seems to me that really the only way to enforce these rights is to go to the courts."
