CCTV documentary exposes gruesome shooting at scam park in Myanmar

A documentary from state media CCTV revealed more gruesome details of the telecom scam park in northern Myanmar.

In November 2023, about 4,000 suspects of telecom fraud were repatriated from Myanmar to China,

Some suspects sustained suspected gunshot wounds in the head, who later revealed that more than a score of Chinese citizens were fired upon while attempting to flee the compound several months before.

Chinese police, together with Myanmar's authorities, raided the site and collected evidence over the shooting rampage.

After nearly half a year of investigation, six Burmese armed men and the park's financiers were rounded up.
