FS leads delegation to Nanjing for student and business exchanges

Financial Secretary Paul Chan began his tour in Nanjing where he will take part in exchanges with local university students and businesses.

Chan led a 30-member delegation to Nanjing University where he interacted with professors and students, introducing them to Hong Kong's current path of development.

The FS also participated in an alumni business forum where topics such as the local AI sector and optical chip development were discussed.

Chan said Hong Kong can use its advantages as an international and professional service hub to cooperate with industries in Nanjing and Jiangsu.

He later met with Secretary of the CPC Nanjing Municipal Committee Zhou Hongbo and Nanjing mayor Li Zhongjun.
