Hang Seng Uni President on AI to empower students

President Joshua Mok of the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong says the institution will empower students to make good use of artificial intelligence for entrepreneurship.

Taking office as the President of HSUHK starting this academic year, Mok said in a press meeting that, in the face of rapidly changing AI, the university will strengthen the cultivation of students' innovative thinking and integrate AI into various academic departments.

As for whether the university will participate in the development of the Northern Metropolis University Town, Mok indicated HSU's preference for collaborating with overseas or regional institutions and industry bodies based on disciplinary needs to explore development possibilities.
