Israeli police said they arrested 10 people on Monday in connection
with a wave of settler violence.
Those included attacks against an American journalist and several
European diplomats in the occupied West Bank over the weekend.
Israeli authorities did not identify the suspects nor provide details
on their roles in the attacks, which allegedly took place during
the annual Palestinian olive harvest season.
Washington Post photographer Heidi Levine was reported
to have been beaten by young male settlers and underwent
surgery on a finger that was nearly severed.
A day later, a group of European diplomats that included Belgium's
counsul general was attacked in another village.
