Multiple vulnerabilities have been exposed in the widely used open-source programming language PHP, with local bodies urging users to check for system updates to ensure safety.
The Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre, or HKCERT, says multiple older versions of PHP are involved, and these vulnerabilities allow attackers to execute arbitrary code remotely.
HKCERT says the PHP vendor has provided updated programmes and recommended users apply them.
